Free Tutorials – How to use Smartphones, Tablets and Computers

Geoff Amor

Over the past 12 months Committee member Stewart Gruneklee has started a training program for people struggling with our modern “device centric” lifestyle. With the increasing trend of everything moving to the internet, it is important that all adults have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out transactions on-line safely and with confidence.

The program has been well received by both members and non-members. Club volunteers from the club – Geoff Amor and Steph Lancaster have worked with Stewart to facilitate the program and, have decided to continue the program. It is scheduled to happen at the clubrooms during 2023 (starting in April) on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday, between 10 am and 3 pm.

We encourage members to participate as the tutoring offered is appreciated and the volunteer tutors also learn from the experience.

If any members would like to participate either as a learner or tutor, please email the team at beconnected@melbpc.org.au.

This initiative is supported by the Federal Government via https://beconnected.esafety.gov.au
