From The Editor August 2022
Hugh Macdonald
Dear Readers,
Firstly my sincere apologies for not getting an official issue out in July. The June issue came out belatedly in early July and I lacked the energy to get another issue out by the end of the month. So instead an issue has come out now, at the end of August.
Thankfully my health is now much improved from what it was at the start of July and I don’t expect it to be a problem in getting issues out on time for the rest of the year. I thankyou for your patience in what has been an uneven year for PC Update and I look forward to producing some quality issues for you between now and the end of the year.
This one has some good features in in, and it’s particularly good to see two East SIG reports from Neil Muller full of handy tips about different software and devices that you will undoubtably enjoy reading. There’s also some great poetry from Barry Horn that encapsulates some of our experiences during the pandemic of the last few years. And Tim McQueen has returned with and interesting book review.
So enjoy the issue, and look out for the next issue towards the end of September.
All the best for the month,
Hugh
