Our online meetings are held on the third Monday of the month, except for December when there is no meeting. Our online meetings generally start around 8 pm which allows time for attendees to successfully connect using Zoom. There is usually a short presentation on a topic of interest and time for Q & A.
For members of Melbourne PC User Group, you can register your interest in our SIG online meetings by logging on to your member account and subscribing to the Northern Suburbs Linux SIG to receive our normal monthly meeting emails.
Interested persons who are not yet members can indicate an interest in the SIG activities by filling out the email registration dialogue under the heading "Non-Members Welcome" on this web page.
Coming soon - Linux Beginners Workshop.
An online session for MelbPC members to show attendees how to install Linux Mint on a laptop or desktop. This session will cover making a bootable USB memory stick and how to use it, what configuration is required of a target computer, and what to expect from the resulting installed system. There will be time for Q & A. No previous knowledge of Linux is assumed.
Date and time are yet to be determined, so if you are interested please send an email to our SIG email address shown below with your preferred weekday and time, eg/. Tuesday morning or Thursday evening.
