DOTW Winners April 2021

Roger Brown

DOTW is a lighthearted look at some of the sillier events of the week. Don’t take it too seriously and do pop over to Chit Chat and vote each week. Thanks to those of our members who occasionally ‘feature’ for taking the gentle humour in such good part.

April winners were:

• The person responsible for hurling golf balls which damaged a State Emergency Service helicopter performing vital flood recovery services during take off.

• The taxpayer-funded aged care homes which funnelled $31 million back into the coffers of one of Australia’s largest churches despite being almost totally unprepared for Covid 19.

• Andrew Bolt, for an article claiming that the AstraZeneca vaccine is more deadly to Australians than Covid 19 itself.

• The two Victoria Police off-duty officers were among five men who allegedly fled from on-duty police when their on duty officers attempted to stop their unregistered Mercedes-Benz. Apparently drugs were involved.

Thanks to all participants, including those who feature in our supplementary LOSER award!!
