Monthly Meeting

Our AGM and next Monthly Meeting is on Wednesday 6th November 2024


This will be run as a "hybrid" meeting, meaning we will be in person in the Borrett Room at the club but also opening it up to members via Zoom. Click here a little before 7pm to join the meeting on Zoom or make sure you have secured your raffle tickets at the door and are seated before 7pm.

This Month's MC Barry Horn will start at 7pm sharp.

Presenter Topic: 3D Printed Figurines - MINIREAL

We are going to have an extended interval with drinks and nibbles and an opportunity to have a bit of a chat and generally socialise.

We will provide light nibbles, tea, coffee and soft drinks. Feel free to BYO beer or vino.

 

And then ...

  • David Stonier-Gibson will present his President's report for this month.
  • At 8:30 pm we will have a presentation on Zoom from Kaye North titled "Code Club Australia"
    Kaye
    is the Community and Engagement Manager for Code Club Australia.  Prior to this, she was a teacher in both primary and high schools across Queensland for 22 years.  Kaye's passionate about the use of technology in providing digital solutions to problems, and it being a key driver for young people to develop problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills as well as developing their computational thinking.
  • The meeting will close at 9 pm followed by Harry Lewis discussing iHelp related topics.

 

and last but not least ...

The restaurant has been arranged for WAFFLE, a relaxed social get together at nearby Fong's Chinese restaurant. Details and maps will be available on the night.
